Just fitted a new Towsure caravan cover to our van in preparation for winter, I was really surprised at how flimsy the buckles on the tie down straps are they are made out of the thinnest cheapest plastic imaginable and all of them broke instantly when I attempted to pull the tie downs tight. anyone reckon I should complain to Towsure or is this just one of those things that one must acccept?

all of them broke instantly when I attempted to pull the tie downs tight. anyone reckon I should complain to Towsure or is this just one of those things that one must acccept

too true,give then a ring tell them not fit for use.send new straps please.

We bought one last year and didn't have a problem, at all. Perhaps they have changed manufacturer.

RESULT! rang Towsure this morning, they are picking up the cover tomorrow morning and sending me a new one, apparently there are "issues" with the latest cover buckles.

The replacement cover from Towsure arrived today, the buckles LOOK the same as the ones that failed miserably ut at least tis time I was able to fit the cover without any of them breaking.
