we have this awning and have now used it for 2 seasons. The frame is absolutely brilliant we have the steel one, and it is 1075 size so has 7 poles across the roof and 7 poles across the front.

We particularly like the legs that have a disc on the bottom that can be pegged down if required, although I have to say we have never done this. They are extremely sturdy and the frame has never moved,

Cant say we are impressed with the acutal awning material, it has faded really badly and is extremely dirty. The ladders used to peg it down are also a pain when they snap. We like the zip down windows but the toggles that hold them up have stretched and worn.

Overall we are pleased with the awning especially the frame which I think is one of the sturdiest around

We got the Pyramid Spa awning with the Ranger 500/5 we bought second hand in June but we haven't used it as it is too heavy to use for touring (like you, the previous owners had the caravan sited).

I'm looking to sell the awning if you're interested...?
