Hi All

We decided it was time to trade in the tent for a sardine can 17, as my back won't stand airbeds for another season., so have bought a 2007 Lunar Solaris 1.

Does anybody have one, and are there any problems we should be aware of?

Grateful for any info.

MrL.

Hi
I bought a new Lunar Solaris in 2007 and its just been for its second service. In the two years i have owned the van the only warranty work has been a new gas locker lid a failed bed hydraulic strut and some re-sealing around the Remis roof light. This is my second Lunar and I would check the rear of the roof light as both of my vans needed some resealing as Lunars loose fit roof tends to distort slightly and move away from the frame. I also fitted a new microwave as the first failed, the new one looks better as it is a digital model. The van is really well screwed together and I have only seen one van I would change it for, that is the new Clubman, another Lunar. I am delighted with the van and have used it for just under 150 nights it still looks as new again testament to the excellent build quality.I am sure you have made a good choice and hope you are as happy with your van as I am.

Thx for the reply Sandy.

Will keep an eye on the rooflight.

Hope I get to use mine as often as you.

MrL
