I have just bought a Pyramid porch awning from Ebay, it is fabulous!, quality is 1st class and the price? 49.99 plus 7.98 postage!! anyone looking for a porch awning I can highly recommend this one! Ebay number is 260385761338.
Hi GM4PGV.
This does look a good buy. As you've "praised it up", can I assume you've put the awning up and fully checked etc? I'm on the looksie for something like this for very occassional use, so this might fit the bill.
Hiya Paul, Yes we have put the awning up to try it and all looks well! we are away this weekend so we will put it up and give you a report on it when we get back monday.
how thy are managing to sell them at that price I have no idea! if you check it out on Pyramids website you will see they are selling them for 120 pounds!

Brill, would be interested in your feedback Paul.
As for the price, maybe due to colour? I had a flier from Waudby's advertising the Sunncamp at a bargain price, but on checking out it was the green and burgundy that were reduced with the blue being the usual price; presumably comes down to popularity of the colour scheme.
I bought a porch awning from Bardesa Leisure in August which was half price (unfortunatly, the door fouled the roof though, so they refunded without question), plus tried a Towsure one (which I was NOT impressed with). As I'm only after one for the realy odd occassion, one of these might suit.
Will await your comments.

I too will be most interested in your feedback- we like the look of the pyramid weekender plus with the side awning.
We travelled upto peak outdoors on Saturday to have a look at it and their other awnings. Having checked their website for directions and opening times we were not impressed to find that there was a notice on the door saying closed this weekend due to moving!!!
Surely the whole point of a website is to keep your customers updated about opening times products and where your store is?
We've a Pyramid PDQ awning, is a good idea but not impressed with the huge pond (or should Say lake) that forms on the roof when it rains. Quality wise its good but the only downside is that if the awning is left on the caravan the bag fills up with water.
I had a closer look at the Kampa awnings at TentHire in Walsall on Saturday. Was very impressed & we'll be getting one to replace the PDQ.
Just back from a weekend trying out the Pyramid Mini Weekender awning.
Erection is quick and realtively easy even for one person, one niggle being the fact that the fibreglass poles are a bit of a fiddle to feed through the awning, or perhaps it is just me not being used to the awning yet.
Internal size is adequate at around 2.5 by 2.5 metres, there are 3 windows all with fitted blinds and the 2 side windows have large ventilation panels above them, there are plenty of steel tent pegs and ladder fastening supplied. There is no draught skirt supplied with the awning, but as I had plenty of spare skirting lying around this was not a problem to me.
I would advise that all zips are fully closed BEFORE pegging out the awning as you may find it difficult to close the zips after pegging out.
All in all we are more than satisfied with the awning and at a price of only 49.99 what can I say!
I know this is an older thread but we brought this at the end of last year after seeing this thread.
We finally got to try it out this weekend and were most impressed. The porch went up easily with stood the wind and rain of last night and this morning, the wet awning rolls up nice and small in a towel ready for drying out tomorrow hopefully.
The porch gave excellent extra space for boots, coats, chairs and drying a large wet dog, its still avaliable on ebay now at £69.98 with no postage so I thought I would try and do someone else the favour this poster did for us and bring this bargain to your attention.
Unfortunately there aren't any avaliable at that price now, I brought mine at the start of this year. There is one currently on ebay as unused starting bidding at £65 that is identical to mine. We are still pleased with the awning.

I didn't get the annex with mine although I have seen posts on other caravan forums from people who have and are extremely pleased with the awning with annex.
As an update I did purchase a full insignia awning from Towsure in July to use when we have more than the 3 of us with the van. I managed to get a returns bargain on that at Towsure Sheffield paying £225 for a brand new 12 month guarantee 985 size insignia.
It seems I am lucky with Awning bargains which is unusual for me.
As I remember the porch awning prices did seem better after Christmas.
We have a full awning with annexe(see profile pics)already, so was only looking for a quick put up awning, our porch awning that came with van is v old and small, the pyramid caught my eye as it had the annexe with it which would be good for storage if daughter not with us.
Not in a hurry so will keep an eye out after christmas and see if price goes down.
