My Bailey Ranger GT60 540/6 has gone back to the dealer for some work and for the blow air heating to be routed into the back bedroom and i miss her already lol. I got home from work and there was this huge gap where she normally sits
Don't know when she'll be home
My dh pointed out the 4 cushions on the single (sofa) bed in the back bedroom but he said that they are all that tight.
I'm not that happy with the reply as it is very uncomfortable to sleep on and i'm sure that they shouldn't be so tightly fitting that you have to squash them into place so that the next day it is all squashed up. Has anyone else tried that bed out and had such a tight fit?
I sympathise. Had to take ours in for warranty work last Saturday. The drive looks ever so empty with a huge caravan sized gap. At least when I get her back there'll be a new sunroof.
Get her back saturday coming and the next weekend we're off to hereford to a food festival.
Are we talking about a person or a tin shed? Cannot understand why people get so emotional about a tin can and even resort to giving the tin can a name. It is a lump of metal, wood and fibreglass grafted together to give you living accommodation when you go travelling! You use it or abuse it as you prefer.
i know just how you are feeling, im like a cat on hot bricks at the moment. we have had to completely empty our milly as she is going in next weekend for major works, she is having a new front and one or both sides, long storyinvolving damp and bad building we dont know how long she will be away.
We keep our caravan in storeage, and as some will remember, had our previous van stolen in May. There's always a thought in the back of the mind that when you can't see it, something bad might be happening to it.
Interesting you should say you are having your heather pipe routed to the back bedroom of the GT60. My son in law has recently bought a new GT60 and because they caravan all year round was thinking of having his re-routed. I think his local dealer quoted somewhere over £200. So he has put it on the back burner till he really needs it. Have you been quoted this sort of figure as semed expensive to me, I suggested perhaps getting another quote.
Dh dropped her off yesterday and asked if they could do it and they said that it shouldn't be a hard job but didn't give a price. When he read your post he phoned them and left a message but they haven't got back to us yet so will phone again tomorrow and then go over cos i aint paying £200 for a heater when my £4 tesco radiator will do the job just fine lol

Although I have a different caravan, we also got the heating re-routed into the bedroom area. Took the technician less than an hour to fit. Material cost about £30 as all they used was ducting, two plastic outlets, plastic clips to hold the ducting in place and a T- piece. Yhey did not have to take the ducting under the caravan. Maybe you could do it yourself? Due to an earlier altercaion with the dealer I got the job done for free.
