Hi All,

Well I have finally done it and bought a new to me, caravan, 15 years since i last had one and boy was i ripped off then,so I am looking forward to getting on the road with this decent one.

I bought the van through ebay and collect it saturday, sounds fine by the description and pics but I guess I will be on tender hooks until i get it.

do you have a swift corniche 12/2 does anyone? what the general view on this van, quite happy with honest opinions lol

Oh now I am a caravaner again do we have a secret handshake or wave

Hiya Neilscot,

Dont know much about your type of Van, but as for the Secret handshake etc.... Im sure you will find amoung the forum threads they have a secret weapon known as the "Pink Stuff"..  It is alleged it makes you walk like an Equestrian Horse!!! enough said huh...

Enjoy your Caravan..

Thanks for advice

I have another question- when i put my van on the car unloaded it seemed to be lower at the back than front?

There is an awning and gasbottles in the front compartment - only a spare wheel in back

i have not loaded anything else, but the fridge , cooker is in the back of the van is this normal?

Greetings fellow caravanners! ha ha.  We are new to the 'van' scene, does anyone here own an antique swift corniche 12/2 1986 model like ours(in an awful mucky brown shade, I might add).   Does anyone know what the original colour is? or were there many types?  We don't have a manual so any advice/tips would be appreciated. Thanks. Brian and Chris.
