We are looking to upgrade our caravan. Currently we have a CI 470 Europa 4 berth caravan. We got it 2nd/3rd hand and it is very old about 1980/1982, we don't know exactly as there is not any paperwork. We have improved it and it is in reasonable condition for its age, although upholstery and furnishings are a bit tired and dated.
There is no damp and it is in a roadworthy condition. Anybody got any idea what it is worth in the current market ? I think we will be advertising it here first but I wanted an idea of what was reasonable to ask for it. Then we can put that towards the money we have saved to buy a newer van. All advice gratefully received.
List it on ebay with a good description & plenty of photos. You will reach the largest audience for the least outlay & you will also discover the caravans true value.
That will be the price that somebody is prepared to pay for it.
At that age it is condition more than what van it is that is important. This isn't really the right time of year to try selling a van that is probably only going to appeal to new caravanners.
