We have just been to check on our caravan cover after the high winds and find that some of the loops which hold the straps have broken. It is a ring that has been sewn into the cover - any ideas how we could replace or what we could replace it with.

As anyone else had these clips break - when we went up to check our caravan - we saw that several others clips had broken on covers that were in storage, but when we asked at our Local Caravan/Camping outlet they were quite surprised that they had broken.
Think we are going to go for the climbing clips.
Thanks everyone.

You did not say what make of cover you are using, I bought a new cover from Towsure a few months back and all four buckles failed immediately, I complained to Towsure and in all fairness to them they arranged to have the faulty cover picked up the very next morning and had a replacemnet with me within a few days. While new new cover buckles have not failed as yet I am still dubious about the quality of them and will be surprised if they last the winter!

We have used a specialised accessories cover on our van, no problems at all, and I have another for the new van due for delivery any day now.
