depends on what you use it for and the charging system you have.

You would do better by running your fridge on gas. Presumably you would also require electricity for lighting.

Depends what you mean.

If you mean how long can you run your caravan without mains hook up - a few days.

If you are on mains hook up - indefinately.

If you mean how long will it last if you charge it regularly before it wears out - mine is over 4 years old & still ok

You can't run your built in caravan fridge on 12v while parked on site. It will only run on 12v while you are towing & car engine is running. If you are pitched up without EHU your battery should run your telly for a few days if you use lights sparingly. You have to run your fridge on gas if you are not on EHU.

I find the TV will kill the battery in a few hours, but that is through an inverter. I know people who claim to get a lot longer by running if directly from 12 volts, but I don't think more than 7 or 8 hours is going to be feasible even then. Not all TVs will run from 12 volts either and some of those that will will be damaged by connecting directly to the battery as a fully charged battery is significantly more than 12 volts. The TV will work on 13 volts or more, but will not last for very long.

Lights, water pump etc will easily last 3 or 4 days if used sensibly.

>>>  You can't run your built in caravan fridge on 12v while parked on site. It will only run on 12v while you are towing & car engine is running. <<<

This is not strictly true. There are some built in caravan fridges that do run on 12v only, from the caravan battery.

Ours, made by Waeco is such a unit and it, along with our lighting and TV will last between 5 and 7 days with a 110Ah battery.

However, 2-way and 3-way fridges although having a 12v setting are not meant to be run from a 12v battery but directly from the car's Alternator. Therefore they are only on when the car engine is running and the Alternator is charging.

Please, if you do not know what you are doing when you are setting up you caravan electrics, either get yourself a Haynes Caravan Manual or get hold of someone who does know what goes where.
