caris go have alook at highbrigde caravans, look at some of the older vans there and the diy ones so you can see the layouts, (i personally will never buy a van from there again but thats only due the way we were treated). then have alook on ebay or tradeit and take your time looking around them,
have you thought were you are storing it to, either at home or storage yard, and dont forget things like wheel clamp and hitch locks.
we have a 5 birth twin axle, it only weighs in at just over 1200kgs and max of 1500kgs, and you can get smaller twins, if i was you id go for a 4 birth and hope they have an awning with it, you might have to go for a late 80's to 90's age as the weights then were normally lighter than the ones these days.
