we have booked our summer break kent, longleat newforest and just looking for a site at weymouth within walking distance of a beach for the hrandkids any ideas would be most welcome Denise.
Lovely now the kids are grown up;.no need to book, the site fees are cheaper, no need to spend a fortune keeping them amused in the rain, nice quiet sites. But it is more boring!
Booked up ours the first day the CC website allowed, but have just found out that schools go back Thur 2nd Sept, and have just booked that week from the tue to the sun as OH can't get the bank hol monday off. Typical, especially when the school usually has its teacher training day first day back, so our week will be ruined by just having to be back for school on the Friday. How bad a parent will we be if we go away anyway........or do we cancel, as we've always got the first week of summer hols booked to go to the New Forest?
