Ok the heading don't make sense,

But the carver water filter is stuck anyone know how to shift it without damaging it.

In answer to the question from the Giraffes,  recently bought a 1997 lunar Solar weight mainly headed us in that direction.   So far not been away in it but live in hope.

Had a van twenty years ago, complete with gas mantles   got to cramped in it .   Moved on to other things.  Then went back to camping,  now my age is taking it's toll so a caravan it is.   But the tent will still be in use, it's booked in for 3 weeks in August .

 As for the Lunar it is dry, good condition, full service history. One owner from new.   It has everything we need.   Except a new water filter .   Looking forward to getting it on a field.  Will give you an update when we have been out.

Watch out for the prices, we took over a year to find the right one for us.  There was some that I didn't get passed putting my head in the door before walking away.

Warming it up with a hair dryer can help.

Thanks for the replies,  will use a bit more force   I didn't want to break it before I'd used it. 

Will use veg oil on the next one 

If that will not work first trip out I will be the one looking like James Bond armed and dangerous
