Hi everyone we are new to this and we are looking to buy our first caravan (upgrading from the tent).  We are keeping our eyes open for a used van however before we buy one we need to find a place to store it.  Ive tried a couple of storage places local to me but they are full was hoping somebody on here may know one not on the web, a farm or something like that. As for storage in Bury, try Hayes Farm, Walshaw - 0161 797 9094

There is also one in Ainsworth aparently, but I don't have a number. Someone recently posted this number for storage in Pilsworth: 01706360825.

Hynes farm is that the one at the top of walshaw road on the right as your driving up its just around the corner from my house and i tried there yesterday full but ill give the pilsworth one a go.

There is a storage site on the pilsworth trading estate run by a girl called mandy (cove UK Limited) i think, when i drive past each morning it seems pretty empty.

Also we keep our van on a site in Darcy Lever (Radcliffe / Breightmet Area)  its a Cassoa gold site.

There is also a farm on Pilsworth Road just after the M66 motorway bridge on the left we just called in there and was pretty reasonable but insurance was vast.

Prices vary ours is £480/yr but insurance new for old is £316/yr.

Have been in touch with Mandy at pilsworth and we are going to go for that it has 24 hour security, cctv, and you also get a discount on your caravan insurance because they are registered with some organisation.  I also think the rates are very reasonable £350 per year for a single axle van.

Now all we need to do is find ourselves a caravan.
