you will need special fittings to do this because the wall ply that you are fixing too is only 5 mm thick ply,so the fittings for the screw will need to expand behind the ply .any B + Q/homebase person will show you which these are.there is not a lot of weight so you could go for hidden fixtures.the brackets fix to the wall and the shelf slides over the top. as phil says if it next to a cupboard you can do as i did for the tv bracket.on the inside of the cupboard fit a thick piece of ply and screw through into it.
