I can recommend the Broadway CC site if you are making a weekend of it, that way you can try it out to see if everything is working. Just 20 mins up the road from Broad Lane.

There is also the ranch in Evesham, never been there but it does have good reviews. In the middle of nowhere though, but there are good facilities on site and a pub at the entrance.

Sorry am i missing something - don't quite understand!!

The CC site is situated next door to a council run travellers site, and I work at the ambulance station a few miles up the road

Clent Hills is really lovely, I used to live in Hagley almost at the foot of them, 20 mins brisk walk and I was halfway up, on a clear day the views are stunning, The Birmingham conurbation one way, and the Malverns and on a clear day the black mountains the other. Check out Belbroughton too, quaint village with a pub about every 100 yards.
