I am in the process of buying a Lunar Zenith 6 berth and wonder what everyone thinks about the van generally??? This is our first caravan with 3 young children and wonder if there are any known problems with it etc from past experiences.
I am also looking an an Avondale Dart 556 6 berth and havent got a clue which has the better reputation all round.

We have the Lunar Zenith 4, and are generally quite pleased with it. We did have a problem with some peeling internal trimstrip which seemed to be generic of that van and year, but it was replaced with some better quality stuff as part of the warantee and has been fine since. I have owned a couple of Avondales in the past, the last one of which suffered from damp at only a few months old, but i much prefare the Lunar for build quality and design. Ours is a 2006 model, i believe that Lunar have now discontinued the Zenith range for 2010 which is a shame as they were a good lightweight van with plenty of kit for a reasonable price new.

hi we also have a zenith 4 2002 model only 1 fault we found was ,it has no plug socket in the rear of the van ,zenith 6 may have one.other wise no problems.
