Thanks to everyone who has suggested either getting the dealer to swap the mover, or even scarier DIY, but my wife and I have decided for the price (and convenience) differential that it is worth having a brand new mover fotted to our new caravan.

If the deal was done more locally than 160 miles away, then we would probably done it differently, but to fit in with our lack of holiday allowance, the new mover is the most practical way.
