On our new Pegasus 524 I have arranged for the dealer to connect up the LED strips under the side lounge windows before we pick our van up. To my mind it is silly that the Olympus has these, yet not the more expensive Pegasus. As the lenses are there it smacks of penny pinching.
I am also not a fan of the fold over table & have told Bailey so.
I can't wait for 17 May, but we have 3 trips away in the old van first.
but does the olympus have the 4 reading lights over the front lounge ?
i agree though , the clear lens is there so why not have the led lights under there as well , same next to the fixed bed on the 534.
i reckon there will be major changes for the 2011 models....
When Prospector asked what time was inspection time and that he just might be there looking at caravans at the same time, it did cross my mind that your dealership may have felt they were doing extra good business by a lot of other interested ukcampsite watchers, also 'just looking at caravans'

The Olympus has 1 halogen spot per side and a led strip per side. There is no led strip above the front window.
well done glad its sorted for you.but as you and i say is there any need for this kind of upset on quality output? i for one do not think so.good luck.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
Very pleased for you but what a terrible worrying time. You should have been compensated. Well done. Bailey have just done the minimum they should have before now or at least given strong reassurance. It shows a lot of doubt about the integrity of van brands in the minds of customers.

yep , didnt get anything extra thrown in.asked for a set of drawers , didnt acknowledge the request.
i think the problem is Bailey can throw them together and know they can sell em faster than they make em.good for them, not so good for the buyer.
its still rather worrying how a damaged van gets through the system ( knowing it was damaged and attempting to hide the damage ) and hoping the dealer or the customer dont pick up on it.
but, you learn by experience & we certainly wont get stung again
Why would John and Bev want to send Bailey a bunch of Easter Flowers?
