Today finally hooked up gas to try out the hot water in our new but very very old tornado xl (not typhoon as i have put in past lol) this was the final check after taking a beaten up old van we got for £60 and cleaning it all up.and it worked first time,scorching hot water from all the hot taps.even the little fire works amazing.As im sure you can tell we are very very happy. Roll on easter.
I agree Sproz this is our first van and never actually planned on owning one until it was offered to us.It is in really good condition for its age cant find any damp or rot in it.Feel bad though for people im seeing on here paying fortunes for a serious way of life in caravaning and finding no end of problems with them.Doesnt seem right.
oh my lord thats great mate, we too own an elddis they are great we love ours to bits, we too are off away at easter my birthday!!! not sure if thats a good thing thou at my age pmsl, but glad your bargain has paid you back, have a good time like we do and all will great. some times you take risks buying something thats a bargain price and loosing loads and sometimes you grab a deal that pays you back straight away, and your luck is paid you back, have an excellent time as we do,

Hi Missizippi only just tried hot water for first time lol. This was a very old beat up caravan needing a lot of work,only now is it ready for first holiday lol.
Woohoo well done, the old vans are the best lol, enjoy your Easter we are away for our first trip of this year at the en of the month can't wait to get the old girl out again :)
