I have a 2006 Sterling Elite Searcher and am looking for a 2nd awning. The dealer we bought it from stated a 1050cm would fit. Does anyone know if this is correct as Sterling are not answering my email requests for an answer.

Also, I know of a 1088cm awning for a reasonable price, would this be suitable with a little nip and tuck from an awning repair/alteration company?

Swift Group have an archive of caravan brochures on their website. According to the 2006 brochure for your Sterling Elite Searcher, the A-size of your van is 1048cm.

Just put a bit of string around the Awning rail and measure it. Simples !!

we had a sterling elite overlander (the same size as yours) until recently and we had a1050 Dorema awning which fitted perfectly
