I doubt that is your only choice. I know Powrwheel who sell the Powrtouch mover can supply whatever brackets you need in order for it to fit you caravan. With that said I would also call around the other companies and ask the question, if it will fit your Freedom caravan. It is all based on the type and size of chassis which yoour caravan has.
Hi Dawn, May be correct if your van has a the small 6 inch deep chassis, as mine has and only the Reich mover will fit( don't know of other manufactures that make mover to fit shallow chassis just yet.) the Rich mover tents to be bit expensive, but very good, weight about 30k, if you get one you must switch off mover isolation switch before AC hook up,when mine got fitted the fitter said according to Rich the mover power could be left on when AC connected,IT CANT,as any fluctuation in AC will fry the mover circuit board, as happened to mine, and they cost £150+ to replace, mine was replaced free of charge by reich as I had follow thier instructions, Oh if you get one fitted get fitter to place the isolation switch where it is easy to access,EG- front locker, especially if you have restricted accsess to it if parked in driveway, I fitted small 12v bulb that lights up when mover switch is on, just visual reminder, good luck with your decision.
------------- If everything runs smoothly then I must have done something wrong
If in Doubt Check it Out.
We had a Reich Mover on our previous two caravans. Always found the company very good to deal with. Now have a powertouch as that was the only mover fitted by our dealer.
