Am very close to buying a 2005 bailey ranger 550/6. can any body tell me the 6 berth layout eg Is it 4 at the back and two up front or three at each end.
two at the front, fixed bunks across the back and the side dinette which coverts to another set of bunks. Well, that's what our old one was and i'm sure that was 2005.
Ours is a 2004 model and is as described above. Just watch for the lower back bunk as ours is quite short because there is a wardrobe/cupboard at the end. We love the van and is perfect for our family of four.
Likewise, for our menaces it was ideal. WE had one for about a year i think, probably longer. When the GT60 came out with the triple bunks, I was like a woman possessed. We brought one when we got some free tickets to the caravan show at the NEC. I'm never ever allowed to go again......so worth it though.
We have the 2005 version. Layout at above, we tend to sleep on two 'singles' on the front as cant be bothered to make it in to a double bed, rear bunks are great for the kids and Its ideal for a family of four, if we have a 'guest or two' then the side bunks are ideal!
Enjoy!
