I want to buy a couple of singles for the caravan. The more I look the more involved it becomes - density, flame retardency, country where made, the vast difference in price. Then today I spoke to a very knowledgeable and helpfull lady at 'Foam For Home Direct'. She told me that her and all her staff sleep on polyrethane foam and not to bother with visco elastic as it will bottom out and I will still feel any imperfections in the seating underneath. Although I have read a lot of posting's on this subject nobody has said anything like that. She was very convincing and has got me seriously thinking. The price for 2 singles 27" wide with 2 zipped covers would be £106.20, not the cheapest but not the most expensive. What do you think?
we used normal memory foam for last couple of years, very comfortable, we have upgraded to two raskelf singles, but yet to try them, but do get covers our old foam tore a lot, good luck Paul
Found that link very interesting, they do 2" / 5cm King Size Memory Foam Mattress Topper at under £40 and offer up to 4 straight cuts at no additional cost. So would they cut down the middle for 2 x 2' 6" singles and then trim each to length for a total of 3 cuts.
That way you could get 2 toppers for single beds for under £20 each + delivery, think I might ask
