I recommend Chipping Sodbury Caravans.

I also bought an ex display van. I reckoned that if nothing had fallen off after everyone had poked and prodded and fiddled it must be well put together. Also saved £1100 and didn't have to mess around with broken delivery promises.

We are very pleased with our Coachman which we bought last year.  Heavy (550/5) but worth it.  We were not however pleased with the service from the dealer (Berkshire, now Reading Carvans) who missold us with regard to extras promised that weren't delivered previously documented:

Complaining right the way up did nothing for our cause, in fact we were just ignored.  We won't be going back.

I'm not saying they are perfect and they are not my local dealer, but Glossop Caravans always seem to have a top supply and range of new and esp used vans. In any dealings I've had with them in the past we have got there in the end and I've never found them anything but keen to sort any issues out.

While we are on this positive note can anybody recommed a good Coachman approved dealer in the S Yorkshire / North Derbyshire area for the years to come when we have our van serviced?
