Hi all,

Just a quick question, can anyone tell me if it is possible to buy an ariel pole that would fit where the jockey wheel would be if i removed it?

Also how do i measure the diameter of the jockey wheel?

Many thanks,

Al.

Have you cionsidered buying a jockey wheel clamp which attaches directly to the jockey wheel at one end and clamps to a pole or mast at the other. Plenty on ebay for about £10 or you often see the clamp and 3 section poles on ebay as well.

We clamp ours to the jockey wheel with a 3 mast pole. All sourced on ebay.

Use these from B&Q. Change the ordinary nuts to wing nuts (also from B&Q to make it easier when fitting and removing.

The correct clamp has 2 U bolts to secure around your jockey wheel and is called a "Shelley Clamp" like HERE  It makes for a more secure aerial mast.

Got mine from a local electrical shop for £3

Use mine with a 3metre long double section mast (splits into 2 x 1.5mtr sections which fit in the front locker nicely)
