Can someone please tell me what paint to use to paint the outside of a caravan?

Some frineds of mine are wanting to paint a 1960s van for their new business as advertising - can they use any paint or does it have to be caravan paint?
Where is the best place to buy?

Coach enamel, available from an automotive paint supplier is the stuff to use.

I used fridge enamel paint once, applied with a small gloss roller.
