DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT HEIGHT PORCH AWNING TO GET FOR A 1995 COMPASS REFECTION. I HAVE CHANCE OF A BARGAIN   BUT HAVE NOT GOT A CHANCE TO GO AND MEASURE MY OWN VAN THRO WORK COMMITMENT.

2.49m sounds very high. The overall height normally includes the TV aerial or heater flue.

I agree.  Normally porch awning have an upper and lower height limit - it's also worth looking at what these are to help you judge.
