Wighlink run ferries on that route with a moveable deck, so if it's busy there'll be 2 levels, not the normal one. Does it give you any idea of the headroom?
Their website says 'Customers must declare the height of their vehicle and any roof-top items, including, but not limited to, aerials, cycle racks, luggage and sporting equipment. Failure to declare may result in the customer being unable to travel on their booked sailing. ' - & there's lots of references to 2.25m.
