Hi

last year at the start of the season connected the Whale pump and nothing just a blown fuse so taking it to site shop it was tested and was faulty so one new pump obtained, No problems for rest of season . This season connected everything up and nothing again ,so taking pump to shop again and after testing it was faulty (shop disposed of pump). Was not happy that i had less than 7 months use out of this pump . So i emailed Whale explaining what had happened and to my delight they sent me a free replacement pump even though i did not have the old one . So thank you again Whale for your service well impressed .

steve

these pumps freeze up after a long period of non use, like winter period.the first you know of it is when you connect up again.because the pump can not turn it blows a fuse immediately it is used.i clean my system with care and use milton for this once a year.i also test the pump is working before use by connecting to a battery.proof of this build up inside the pump came one day after the lot froze up solid.after defrost the gunge that came out of the pump was not nice to look at.

the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
