I've just checked the CC website and can't even see a "sign up a new member, get a gift" type offer. I don't think the CC needs to offer money off in order to attract new members.

We signed up at the NEC caravan show and got a free night at a campsite. It might be worth checking in your area for something similar and sign up there.
Sometimes members get something if you join up and give their membership number so its worth checking if you know some one who is a member, but I have never heard of a discount for joining. Its very good value anyway.

yes this is correct , we got a £5 vouchur when friends of ours joined and gave our membership number.
I tell you what you must be tighter than a submarine door its only about £25 for the year hahahah but fair play to you for trying!!! You get a couple of nights free at any Haven site when you join every year! ;)
The CC does occasionally offer recommend a friend gifts, there are none on at the moment. You would need a member to recommend you first, then the CC would e mail and ask you if you wanted to join.If you joined and gave the members number you would both get a gift.
