We use ordinary bedding (quilt, under sheet and matress cover) - it seems to work OK.  One of these days, when we've got plenty of money (!!!!) we'll buy a fitted sheet, perhaps.

We did buy some bedding from Jonic that was fitted but it is expensive. One item which might be considered quite inportant is a mattress protector as trying to use one for a 4ft6inch bed could be bulky on that cut off corner. Otherwise ordinary sheets and duvets are fine.

Thanks for your replies and photo much appreciated. Think we will go with the normal quilt etc at least for the 1st few outings. I have actually purchased a mattress protector from jonic but didnt want to have to spend any more than necessary  till tried and tested.

Yes Ashwell girl thats exactly what we did in our previous caravan for the bed that you had to make up from the front seats. It worked really well on that giant bed.
