I've lost the recipe for The Pink Stuff! Been years since I drank it and a friend was recently reminiscing about the last time we made a batch.

My 40th is coming up in July and I thought it'd be great to have a bbq. 2 actually - one at home, one where the van is sited (carnage ensues....)

Please help!

When I saw the title of the tread, I almost didn't look - thought it was one of those 'where do I put the pink toilet fluid' posts.  Now I'm glad I looked. 

Does anyone know how long it keeps?  Now before I get all the posts telling me 'it won't last very long' etc., it appears to be an expensive drink to make at home, when I'm the only one in the house that drinks alcohol.  Has anyone kept it for e.g. a number of weeks?  Would the fruit ingredients go off, or will they be happily preserved by the copious amount of alcohol?  I like a drink as much as anyone, but I don't overdo it, being very conscious of (a) my head, (b) my throat and stomach, and (c) my liver!  After saying that, if it keeps, I wolud consider making a mix.

As the recipe is for a bucket full, then reduce amount, and bottle a nip and see if it lasts

and a wee bit of rum to ooomph it up ohhh yehhh

We found that we started off drinking it in tall glasses, with lemonade added, then as the evening wore on, the lemonade part started to shrink so it ended up going down neat.

My friend's hubby started off drinking it neat though, he's a whisky drinker.
