hi does anyone know anything about these caravans just purchased one and habing trouble with the on internal pump, (shurflow daiphram) also the on board watet tank situated under the caravan need someone with a little knowledge to talk to can any one help I'm suppose to be using the caravan in a few weeks and can't sort out the problems I have

Hi glynnisb - we had a 1996 & a 2001, super vans if a little on the heavy side. On th '96 the onboard tank was a devil to fill & on many occasions had to settle for frequent 'fills'   the problem seemed to be air blockages & the length of pipe leading to the tank.  Try more brackets to level the pipe & eliminate sagging.  No such problems on the 2001 van & no problems with the internal pumps.  Have experienced difficulties with a sureflow after standing dry for extended periods, cured by disconnecting pump & priming.  Hope this helps.   Denisc

Hi glynnisb - just pour some water into the inlet, this will lubricate the pump, make sure your onboard tank has plenty water as you may be drawing air into the system.denisc
