Hi im sure this has been asked many times before but i need your help.We have not used van for a while and are going away on tuesday. I have checked to make sure hot water is working and it is not.I am getting a green light and a red light. When i turn it off and on i get two green lights but quickly changes.Am i doing something wrong as only ever used it once before and worked fine. Many thanks in advance for your help. Also if this helps it is middle light which is red and first light that is green.
Also there a clicking sound when i switch it off and on not sure if this is ignition trying to work because when it stops clicking thats when it goes to red.
If you do a search of the maintenance forum I'm pretty sure the complete sequence of lights has been explained many times - it sounds like you have air in the system - I'm not sure haw many times you have tried to light the gas but it sometimes takes 2,3 or 4 time before the gas lights

Hi camperdoodles,Had same problem last year on my water heater, heater full with water no ignition to gas, gas took about 60seconds to charge all the gas pipes, lit cooker burner to make sure gas flowing ok, then switched on heater switch and the light turned green, Make sure heater full of water, turn gas on, check that the gas knob to heater is open wait about 60seconds, then switch on heater switch on the panel, the light should turn green indicating that the gas is lit, and heating water, hope this helps.
