My friend was going borrow my caravan but after lot if thought he decided he like to take the plunge and buy his own caravan after him and his girlfriend came away with us in our van
only issues is his tow car peugoet 207 1.4 hdi 900kg (that using 85 percent rule) can anyone give use ideas on caravans he could tow already thought of freedoms

I would say that there is very little choice below 900kgs, especially if your friend does not have B+E licence, as you say freedoms or teardrops maybe a consideration of a trailer tent or (possibly the best option) to upgrade to a larger tow vehicle

I have a peugeot 207 sw 1.6 hdi 90hp, I tow a Trigano 310 TDL with no problems the van fully loaded is is 850kg.The kerb weight of the car is 1150kg.

It will tow an Eriba Puck or Eriba Pan/Famila. Lovely little caravans, always some on ebay.

We have lunar meteorite s which his car can tow legally as it weighs 650kg unladen and max 900kg I've seen few small elddiss wisps and old style sprite alpine

Older caravans were always a lot lighter, there should be plenty at that weight.
