Where can i buy the metal clamps that fit on the ends of a verandah bar .
I have seen them online somewhere recently, but have looked for ages today and can't find them .
They are 2 metal bits that are curved to fit around the upright pole, they have a hole in each that a butterfly wing nut fits into to screw it up tight.
Try a local camping store, or, failing that why not ring up the spares department of a company that use them. I know Kampa use them on the Fiesta Awning, so I would give them a ring - 01376 500111. I don't think they supply direct, but I would have thought they would be able to tell you where to get them from. Just a thought.
Thanks David, but my local camping shop never seems to have what I need in stock , when I need it . Can't phone , I'm deaf , so much easier to order online, if only i could find the darn things again.
hey , nice tent.
Try the "camping under canvas" , and" tent talk" sections", everything you ever wanted to know about camping is there, and very friendly too.
No Michael the ones i need are two seperate curved metal bits, with a butterfly nut and screw that hold them together on the flattened end of the pole .
The maddening thing is I saw them somewhere online just recently , and only about £2 a pair .
Thanks Michael thats the ones,
I had seen the isabella ones somewhere else and hadnt realised it was for a pack of 3 ,thought it was for one clamp. And I need 4 clamps for 2 verandah poles.
So I'd disregarded them thinking it was too expensive as the complete pole is only £10 with the clamps included .
