I should know by now - the most common design of hob is a swine to clean. Why can't they make them  more like a domestic hob, with rings that lift off for cleaning and without that awful deep channel on one side that houses the controls - and muck. How do you clean your hob, please?

Sorry cannot help as i only have a 21inch screen                        LOL

Try using toothpaste Gel. it releases grease and burnt on stains so they come off with a cloth.

Ours is stainless steel so not too bad to clean but then we only heat stuff in saucepans on it :)

Anything fried is done on the BBQ so no splashes and stains from frying.

Elbow grease works fine for me :)

I think if they came apart like domestic gas hob they may fly around and break things when going over bumps and stopping? But they are tricky to clean - we wipe down after each time we cook to reduce residue and then when we want to be really though an old tooth brush helps!
