Last night at 2.00am I was notified by Phantom trackers that my caravan was on the move.

Without giving any details or location ,i am delighted to say that the caravan was recovered in  a matter of under 1 HOUR BY THE POLICE WHO WERE FANTASTIC !!!

Damage to the hitch lock and whell clamp was found, and repairs are ongoing as I write. 

HOWEVER AS WE ALL KNOW, WE ALL HOLD OUR CARAVANS AS OUR PRIDE AN JOY AND THE THOUGHT OF LOSING IT TO SOME LOWLIFE WOULD BREAK OUR HEARTS.

I  KNOW TRACKERS CAN BE EXPENSIVE TO FIT ,BUT THERE ARE PEOPLE ON THIS WEBSITE WHO HAVE PROBABLY BOUGHT THEIR FIRST VAN,OR UPGRADED TO A BETTER MODEL.

PLEASE ,PLEASE FIT A TRACKER .IT COST ME £9.00 A MONTH ON DIRECT DEBIT FOR A SERVICE WHICH IN MY OPINION HAS SAVED MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND MY OWN HEARTACHE NEARLY £12,000 IN CARAVAN VALUE AND EQUIPMENT

Yes thank you, a timely reminder to ensure our caravans, motorhomes etc are all well secured and have anti theft devices fitted.

Why all the capitals.  It makes it look like a promotion job.  But I am glad you have police that move so fast.  At that time of night we would get an answer from a civilian manning the desk and most officers would be breaking up fights in town centres.

I think trackers are needed more if the van is kept remotely in storage.
