this is a long shot im sure but here goes.

we have changed our van from a bailey senator 5 with a 1080 awning length and now have a swift conquorer 640 with awning length of 1050 we kept our 1080 bradcot classic awning thinking it may still fit but alas no its to big i have had a quote by a company in burton on trent to shorten it but i was wondering is there anybody out there with the same problem who needs a 1080 and has a 1050.? i said it was a long shot but im a strong beliver if you dont ask you wont know keeping my fingers crossed

do not think you will find a swop but if you look on the sales above there are awnings your size.

Hello Merlin. If you do a search on here or google Kingswood Canvas they'll do a superb job of reucing or repairing your awning for you. They certainly know what they're doing resizing awnings.

They're based just a few minutes from J18 of the M4 & just off the A420 Chippenham to Bristol main road in Kingswood Bristol & we've used them for our awning work for years. They even made us an annex for an old awning we used to have & it was brilliant. The people are nice & the workmanship is first class.

Hi Merlin, we had a similar problem but in reverse, (we'd accidentally bought one that was one size too big when we got our new tin tent), but we had it altered with excellent service and decent price too from Tent Valeting. I'll shove the linky thingy in....

They collected it and delivered it back to us if memory serves correct and was all done very quickly too. We were given their details from another ukcs peep and thank them for it still. Just wish we'd thought about having our old one EXTENDED before we forked out for the new one that ended up being too big!Hope this has helped?
