towed my caravan down to poole in dorset the towbar was creaking and moaning all the way stopped on services and polished the towball up but it was just the same any one had this problem
Yes we've had that too. It's dirt on the pads inside the alko stabiliser. You can clean them with spray brake cleaner. We had to remove ours and then clean them. Instructions on removal are on the Alko website. Hope that helps. Mags
Mine was embarrassingly creaky last year so gave the towball a rub down with fine emery cloth and gave the hitch pads a quick ru and hasn't creaked since.
I also had exactly the same problem which was really annoying and embarrasing when pulling onto campsites, I rubbed down the towball and cleaned out the hitch with meths, Result...No more noisy creaking
