how long should one of the blue gas bottles last it a 7kg well 7 somthing lol. it will have to run the fridge and cook a friy up and make brews ruff idea anyone we camp on quiet a tight budget so need to plan ahead as much as i can

It's nice to be important but its more important to be nice
It would depend a lot on usage - the fridge is going to be on gas all the time so you will use more than a modern van with an electric fridge. When I had a gas only fridge I was using the smaller bottles (3kg I think) and they lasted just over a week, so you could get 2-3 weeks from a 7kg bottle.
------------- Caravanning is a way of getting a cheap holiday out of an expensive hobby
I would def pay the extra and get the lite varitey bottles too. Our 7kg has lasted for 30days of camping but we only use it for cooking, brewing coffee and that's it! I weighed the used bottle and a new one and we had only used 1kg worth - not sure how much that is though!

should be quoted on the top of the bottle.see www.calor.co.uk
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
A 7 kg Calor used to run a 2 burner & grill for a family of 3 for a whole year - 2 weeks annual and as many weekends as poss( weather allowing??) Hope this helps!
Regarding cylinder weights - Calor bottles have a metal disc around the bottle neck which displays the empty weight of the bottle in pounds and ounces.
