I just wondered.... lots seem to be writing/commenting about problems with the Pegasus, but I can't remember anyone complaining about the Olympus. Is this because Bailey have solved the problems on their later 'baby', or is it because no-one is buying it. I actually prefer the interior look of the Olympus, but it's the 4" less in the width of the body that would put me off.
If your're thinking of buying I can recommend Chichester Caravans at Bromsgrove as a dealership, Russell Innett - has given us very good deals on our last two vans.

Yes how could they do something as fundamentally debilitating as that; certainly a maker to cross off the list as with that the residues will plummet!
Now cracking ABS fronts thats far less of an issue

As far as I am aware the cracked panels ocurred in the Pegasus. My question was specifically about the Olympus. I have not read any 'complaints' about the Olympus (unless I have missed them) other than the afore mentioned thread about the window catches. I just wondered if it was a) because the problems had been ironed out with the newer van, or b) because no-one was buying them. Judging by the responses so far, do we assume that the answer is b)? Sorry if I have mis-understood your answer or not explained it carefully enough in the first place.

Ihave been following this thread and wonder how Bev+jon have got on with theres, did they get a new van? did they get thier moneyback?
Bev +jon where are you?
I think the thread is still currently on the 'first page' so it is still ongoing. I think most of their problems have been fixed, but I sense they are really not happy at having to put up with a 'repaired van' after having bought new. I do have a lot of sympathy with them.

I don't think so at the moment jaiash. Firstly, I don't think the Olympus is wide enough for us for the layout we like (the same as our Sancerre) - rear wash room, side fixed bed, single axle, 4-birth (don't ask me the number!). Secondly, we are suffering from a complete lack of ££££'s at present.
and thirdly wait till you want some warranty work done at Bromsgrove. Russell is a lovely lad but his boss is a complete waste of space. I had to resort to legal threats before my repairs were done and I was in a queue of unhappy people.
