seriously thinking of buying a new eldiss avante 556, do you own one, have owned one or have any comments on this model?

we've been offered a fantastic trade-in on our bailey pagent provence 5 series, the main reason for the change is we feel the bailey lacks space in the kitchen area, and we like the idea of the triple bunk, where we can use the bottom bunk for storage of toys etc, or shuve nanny in there if need be!

I'm alittle worried about the wet room, as we enjoy a shower cubical at the moment, with 2 toddlers to wash is this easy! admittidly we usually use site facilites, but there will be occassions when we need to use ours!
also the wet room door, shuts with a loud clunk and appears flimsy, has anyone had any probs with this.
and finally, only a few months ago we bought a lovely issabella commodore royal awning, 1000cm, will it still fit on the awning rail which mesures 968cm?
thanks for your advice

thanks for your suggestions

I don't know anything about the caravan , but your awning will be too big.
you can get it made smaller though .

I was looking at this caravan yesterday, we thought about an Avante before deciding on the layout to we have now (09 Quasar 546). I love the fabrics of the Avante and really do think it looks great, inside and out, It also feels really spacious when you go in. What I wasn't so sure of was the tip up sink and also the wall cupboards are really narrow. If you don't mind these things then I'd go for it. It's really what suits your family the best. When we got our 546 everyone keept moaning about how short the front lounge was, after seeing the 2010 model I'm glad we got an 09. The kitchen & wardrobe are bigger on ours and making the bed into a double suits us fine.

Don't be put off by what others think too much, after all they picked their caravans on what they liked. If you like the Avante then go for it.

Happy hunting

Nicky

Forgot to say have you looked at the Coachman version, We got the Quasar because of the low weight (1420kg), if we had a suitable tow car this is the one I would of gone for. Only 2 fixed bunks but really nice inside.
