Will I need an adaptor or something to attach my Cadac into the BBQ point of my caravan

Is it a new caravan?   If so, it will come with the connector which you just push on to the gas pipe.   There are several types available so if one is not supplied, you'll need to do a bit of research.

Yes you will. i just recently retro fitted and external BBQ point to my van and the adaptor came with the kit.

There are several different conectors available so make sure you get the right one.
