Ohhhhh beware of ANY caravan accessory shop.......we did the same once, well hubby did. I only sent him for a new window catch for our first tin tent that we'd bought secondhand 8 months earlier.......he came home with.....a NEW CARAVAN!Well, he'd asked that it be reserved for the short time it would take him to come and take me back to view it that was, and of course, I fell in love in with it too.

I have, therefore NEVER let hubby go to buy a single thing on his own at our local accessory shop which just so happens to be part of a huge caravan retailer. Well, the shop is actually no more as it got burnt down some week ago, but the majority of their new tin tents and motorhomes ARE still there and we have to pass them each time we go to visit our Ellie on her storage pitch at the same place.....

Maybe you will win big time on the lottery and then your wish will come true. Have faith.

Btw, our Elldis Riviera 505 is based on another in the Explorer Group very similar to the Avante, (it's an Odyssey),  so I can see why you'd have fallen for it. We love our Ellie.

Only.......3 weeks and 4 days till we get to take her to Cornwall wooo hoooo

Cannot wait. No holiday last year coz of hubby's badly timed heart attack the day before we should have been going. How very inconsiderate of him.
