Her husband rang the dealer from abroad and he told him that he would replace the awning with the correct size last Wednesday. Wednesday came and went and he didn't arrive with awning.
My friend and her dad went to the dealers today with the awning in the boot of the car to get it replaced. When they arrived he was rude, abusive and TOOK the awning out of her car while she was telling him not to touch it. He took it and cursed at them in front of her 2 children and told her to get out of his yard that he would not be replacing it as she was demanding!! She was only asking for what he said he was giving her and should have supplied in the first place. She has contacted the police.
Please if you are from Northern Ireland do not go near Anderson Caravans in Limavady avoid them like the plague. This is not the first horror story I have heard in recent months all with similar conclusions where he is just an obnoxious man.
oh my god Wacablue thats is a terrible way for anybody to behave, what a nightmare for your friend! i am thanking my lucky stars that he didnt come over that evening, he was expecting us aswell, because i had rang him for directions and told him what time we would be there at, will the police be able to do anything for your friend? i dont think your friend il want to go back there in a hurry again after that treatment.
Hi Wacablue, Hope your friend gets him charged with aggravated theft from the car, and threatening behaviour, sounds like the only thing that bloke would respond too would be a 4X2 post or 6X4 cell,and here's me thinking that all the neanderthals had died out years ago, I hope any wouldbe buyers see this thread and stay well clear of him, I wonder if this bloke's practice have ever been reported, hope your friend gets it sorted to her satisfaction. good luck.
