Short answer - No!
Slighty longer answer - there is nothing that will stop anything in the world being stolen given time and non-interruption...
More useful answer - there are things that make it too time-consuming/difficult/noticeable so that thieves go elswhere and these are such as hitch-locks, wheelclamps, door security locks, caravan steady locks, alarm systems, locking posts (for your drive at home) - even a heavy-duty padlock and chain fastened to a concrete-embedded hasp will provide a slight form of security!
There's also always secure storage sites....

Nothing is foolproof but locks used on vans currently are very poor and security devices are not good. A good cordless angle grinder will defeat most.
It is about time the manufacturers woke up to decent locking for the habitation entry and a locking device inside the caravan.
Car manufacturers have done it - most car thefts now are with the keys- about time caravan manufacturers woke up. Not quite so easy as of course caravans have no engine to immobilise.
As Gram says, the short answer is 'No!'. From what I have seen one of the better security devices (other than a form of tracker system) in the Alko wheel lock. I remember reading an article that compared which security devices were the most effective - they can be removed by thieves from between about 2 and 6 minutes.
A tracker, in my opinion, is a waste. It does not stop your caravan being stolen. What it does do is help to find it after being stolen. But personally, I'm not certain I would want it back after being stolen, I would feel it was soiled, and who knows what un seen damage had been done. It does benefit the insurance company though as they recover the caravan so don't face a total loss. Thats why the insurance co's give you a discount.
agree with most of the above, you have to make your van harder to steal than the one it sits beside, most wheel clamps are made from steel which is easily cut, steady locks are only as good as the resistance of the leg to cutting (not good) etc etc
If its any consolation, for the time being, the biggest caravan thiefs are inside for four years, well maybe two if they behave

As a new owner of a new caravan which apparently are most desirable according to C&CC, Im really nervous about ours on the drive (Im sure all new owners are the same). We have a Milenco on one side and an Alko special lock on the other, & full stop hitchlock, but I know these are just slowing devices & not really foolproof - in the Autumn OH is going to fit a security post and put Winter Wheels on it - what else can you do! Fortunately as a stay at home mum my car is parked alongside it most of the time which is possibly the best deterrent we have!
The only other reassuring thing is that there are several really nice caravans nearby including a lovely twin axle triple bunk peggy which are probably easier to get at than ours and so far (touching wood) they have remained on the drives

Just be aware that if you fit winter wheels, and you don't then have wheel clamps on, the insurance co might use that against you!
The security post is one of the better ideas in my opinion, in fact I have one fitted on my drive!
Simple to operate but effective in helping deter potential thieves!
I had one of these posts, great.I then Iost the key when I was away on holiday. I called locksmith to see what he could do. It took him 2 seconds to cut this masive padlock with bolt cutters.

My caravan is on my drive and when Im at home I park in front of the drive so my car blocks anyone taking the van ....... I still worry about someone breaking in to the van its self though as has happened to me in the past when all my seat cusions were stolen :-(
Caravan upholstery is a horrendous price to buy and a right sod for the would be thief if he has to go and steal it from another van, so removing your upholstery and storing it in your house then leaving the van curtains open to show everybody that there is no upholstery in the van, will deter most thieves.
Not a guaranteed deterrent but something to make them think twice about picking your van.
