hi we are looking at buying a Abbey GTS 416 1994 model but dont think the weight is correct what the seller is saying.We have not viewed because want to get the facts 1st because its a little away from us.He says its is 1300kg and 280kg payload,this seems heavy for a single axle caravan.Any ideas??

ours is 1272 MTPLM on a single axle,so could be right.best to check though.see and check

Our single axle has an MTPLM of 1435kg, so what you are being quoted may well be correct, but best to check it out thouroughly (van & weights) before buying.
