we are back and loved it 2 weeks with rain mud and 7 ? 8 dogs and it was fab. the old awning realy was on its last legs and anything that was pulled to tight fell off but a frend who was camping with us got a new van when we were there and gave us his old awning thats like new as it was too small for his new caravan its a little big for ours but we dont care he allso gave us some meatl steps with 2 steps wich makes things so much easer for me and 2 of the prpper eco ground sheets so we dont kill as much grass hes a star and our little van thansk him very much
we founed out our normal seating arragnemets of to bench seats can be changed into a courner seat and side table and everyuthing satyed warm and dry excetpet for the awning rail which leaked into the awaning so Hubbys going to rebo that. we even did a quick test of the electrics and they all work but to be honist the gas stuff suits us fine with the small led battery lights we have.
we did have a problem with the loo being a bit smelly but think thats down to hubby not cleaning it out properly and me having an over sensative sence of smell. We have never packed up as quickly with a tent as we did wioth the van and the litle van stood up to being dragged over the senic rouits in scotland on the 701 cos mr sat nav hates me.
we have done over 800 miles towing in just over 2 weeks and i still hate it wish hubby could take the van and i follow after. I did suspect the senic route might have been a planed shock tacktick to get me used to it but it didnt work lol
