I am currently on a site with ehu and my spotlights have stopped working and the control panel display is showing e-1. I beleive these mean low battery as it seems my spots run off the battery and the other lights run off ehu.
If this is correct and I want my other lights to work how do I recharge my battery while on a site? Also when leaving I want to use my mover so need power from the battery. Any advice on charging it would be great thanks.

You could check your battery and charger to make sure they are working correctly and on the right settings. If u are on ehu, the battery should be charging.

Someone should come along soon with some more technical. Is everything else working? I am wondering if your ehu might not be working.

Interior lights, tv and plug sockets working which only work on ehu so ehu seems ok.
If battery should still be charging then I am confused.

If you are on a site ask around to see if someone can test your charger and battery for you. Some wardens will do that for you.

How stupid am I? The switch to charge the battery was off- now it's on and all back to normal. Thank you much for the advice though. I just need to get myself a brain!!!

Don't you find that, many a time, when things are wrong, its not the fault of the equipment but user error? We often have to stop and think "What have we forgotten to do". Latest was to turn the control panel off as we put the EHU in place and then forgot to put the control panel back on. The time it takes to sort these things out!!!!!

Phil

(When the wife asked it was a faulty lead I had traced which had to be reconnected....shhhhh)

Then the gas cooker didn't work because the gas wasn't turned on....How many of you have done that?

If anyone does have any solutions please carry on - we have exactly the same problem, but did have all the switches in the right place!

We figured that the battery wasn't charging from the EHU, but don't know what to check. The battery charges from the car ok - lasted about 2 days before running out (which I thought was probably reasonable).

Thanks!
